Meet the Author

Mark Thomas the grumpy grandad who enjoys to make others laugh.

Mark Thomas lives in Pembroke Dock, Wales, with his wife, Helen. He has grown-up children and five grandchildren, aged from 17 years to 18 months.

His stories begin with the places and people he knows best: family walks, seaside weather and the wonderfully unexpected ideas that children bring to every conversation.

As a new children’s author, Mark is excited to share his stories with children and the adults who read alongside them. He hopes to create books that bring laughter, encourage imagination and become favourites at story time.

When he is not working on new ideas, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and thinking about the next adventure.
